Overview

In order to promote the Belt and Road Initiative, we have established a cooperative relationship with the University Liberty of Tunisia, relying on the Free University to open the Tunisian branch of the Academy of Electric Power Sciences. At the end of 2021, we formally signed the Memorandum of Cooperation with the University Liberty of Tunisia to start the cooperation project. The cooperative training mode is to provide training for local students in Tunisia, and the students register in both China and Tunisia after admission. So far, 127 students from Tunisia have been enrolled. Cooperation in educational exchanges, cultural exchanges and skills exchanges have been carried out.

Course Brief Introduction

Students study professional courses in Tunisia in the first two years. During this period, we provide a foreign language course and a professional compulsory course (English in the first year and billingual in the second year). Students can study the majors including Mechanical and Electrical Integration, Marketing, Computer Application, Food Engineering, etc. The number of students in each major is between 20 and 30. In the third year, according to the curriculum requirements of different majors, students can freely choose whether or not come to China to study professional courses or participate in practical training. After the students have successfully completed all courses and passed the examination, they will be awarded College Degree issued by Beijing Polytechnic and academic degree issued by University Liberty of Tunisia.Scholarships covering tution fee and on-campus accommodation are provided.
